Bhapinder advises on all family law issues and has over 24 years of experience in dealing with cases involving divorce, separation, children, domestic violence, Forced marriage, care proceedings, prenuptial and post separation agreements and financial matters.

Throughout his practice, Bhapinder has dealt with difficult and complex cases which require him thinking outside the box.

Bhapinder aims to minimise conflict and seeks to reach early settlement where possible.  He is astute at focussing parties to the issues involved and minimising costs.  He does this through emphasising collaboration between the parties, mediation and solicitor led negotiations whilst at the same time ensuring that the client’s interests are protected.

Bhapinder has in the past acted for clients seeking to appeal decisions or Judgements. Bhapinder regularly appears and attends court hearings.  

Bhapinder has experience of other areas of practice including general litigation, immigration, disability and special needs, court of protection and is able to utilise that experience within his practice as a Family lawyer. For instance, Bhapinder acted for a client who sought contact and residence for a severely autistic child and also assisted that client resolve financial matters consisting of a large property portfolio.
