Straw & Pearce is delighted to announce that solicitor, Emma Sharp, has been promoted to Head of Department of our Residential Conveyancing team.
Emma’s promotion is a result of her hard work and dedication over the years and her appointment to the role will help to grow and expand the team.
Having worked in conveyancing for over 12 years, Emma is well-versed in the nuances of this area and understands the importance of supporting clients through what can sometimes be a stressful process. Emma is friendly and highly personable with an excellent eye for detail – all attributes which will support her role as Head of Department.
In her new role, Emma will be responsible for managing and supervising the team, training and development and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction as well as cementing Straw & Pearce as a recognised leader in the local residential conveyancing space. She will also be involved in working with the local community and adhering to due diligence and compliance regulations. Emma hopes to see the department grow and for the trainees and solicitors to progress under her management.
Speaking of her promotion, Emma said: “I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to head up the Straw & Pearce Residential Conveyancing department and am excited to grow both the team and its reputation under my leadership.
“I have felt so supported by the Directors during this transition period and am looking forward to where this next chapter takes both me and the department.”
