Sarah trained at a firm in Leicester before moving to Straw & Pearce as a newly qualified Solicitor. At Straw & Pearce, Sarah is a Partner and Solicitor in the Family Department and manages both the Leicester office and the Care Team. 

She specialises in providing expert legal advice to children, parents and extended family members when the local authority are involved due to concerns about the safety of children. Sarah attends meetings with clients and the local authority and will advocate on their behalf in court. She undertakes most of her own advocacy and can offer advice and representation from start to finish of a case. 

Sarah is an accredited member of the Law Society Children Panel and a member of the Leicestershire Law Society family law sub-group and the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Family Justice Board. She also attends court user group meetings and Family Professionals meetings on behalf of public law practitioners in Leicester.
