Oilen joined Straw and Pearce with over 15 years experience. Since she qualified she has specialised in family law, and and focuses on representing children in both public and private law. 

She is a long established member of the Children Panel and has represented parents, children and local authorities over many years. Her attention to detail, thorough preparation and knowledge of her subject is widely respected throughout the profession. 

Oilen works with children through CAFCASS, older children and young people who can instruct independently and family members in cases where social services are involved. She appreciates that no two days are ever the same and enjoys the variety of her work.
