Kay Hewitt

Kay has more than 20 years’ experience in the provision of legal services. During her career Kay has undertaken most areas of general practice on the high street and has a wide general knowledge which has made her particularly skilled at advising clients on the resolution of disputes.

Kay is a skilled listener and quick to adapt to the needs of her client, be they business or private individual. She will identify the issues involved and give straight forward and practical advice regarding the merits of the case, explaining the options available.  She is commercially aware and understand the costs regime of civil court proceedings which require costs to be budgeted and managed proportionately. Kay’s expressed mantra is her desire to achieve the best outcome for her client in the shortest time, at best value. Where appropriate, Kay encourages the use of alternative dispute resolution such as negotiation, mediation, early neutral evaluation and expert determination; ensuring that court proceedings are a last resort.
