David Leigh is the head of the highly regarded criminal defence department at Straw and Pearce. He has a wealth of experience in criminal defence work having dealt regularly with the most serious cases including murder and serious fraud. He has a particular interest and expertise in motoring, licensing and regulatory prosecutions. He has successfully defended many drink drive and speeding prosecutions and saved the licences of countless motorists. He also deals with contested licensing applications including alcohol, entertainment and taxi licensing.
David was a keen footballer playing for a number of local teams before age and injury got the better of him. He now spends his spare time skiing, cycling or climbing mountains.
